This pool house redesign was a celebration of period charm and serene simplicity. Our brief was to refresh the space with a calming palette of sage greens, soft blues, and warm neutrals, creating a sense of ease and comfort throughout. Our client loves simplicity with minimal fuss or pattern, so we reined in our usual instinct to layer too many prints or contrasting designs.

Once mainly used by the family’s teenagers, the Pool House was ready to become a peaceful retreat for the couple themselves. We introduced gentle stripes, soft linens, and inviting textures across the two bedrooms, cosy sitting room, and charming twin attic beds. Wooden panelling adds timeless character and natural warmth, grounding the design in a relaxed yet refined aesthetic.

The TV room, previously a ‘walkthrough’ to adjoining spaces, lacked a sense of intimacy. We suggested adding a dividing screen to define the area and make movie nights more inviting. With the addition of the renovated staircase, this room has been completely transformed now a favourite spot for the whole family to unwind.

Well, what can I say... Kim and Lizzie were amazing from the start. They listened and took onboard exactly what I was after, and took note and interest in my Pinterest ideas.

They created the most amazing seven rooms, with everything and more I asked for. The property is absolutely beautiful and everything they created stunning. Attention to detail, second to none. Their curtain makers made the most stunning curtains and their trades people also did such an amazing job throughout.
