With over 22 years of experience, founder Kim Hayman leads Applemoon Interiors with a warm, personal approach to every project. Together with her small, passionate team, she ensures each client receives tailored care, expert guidance, and genuine support throughout the entire design journey.

Based in the countryside village of Barnham, West Sussex, Applemoon Interiors is a trusted specialist in made-to-measure curtains, blinds, upholstery, soft furnishings, and full-service interior design. Whether you're updating a single room or transforming your whole home, we’re passionate about creating spaces that are both beautiful and functional—designed to reflect your unique style and way of living.

Our particular passion lies in working with period and countryside homes. Kim draws on her own lived experience—she and her husband are now four years into renovating their Grade II listed cottage, just ten minutes from the beach. So far, they’ve lovingly restored the downstairs, including a handcrafted kitchen, uncovered original flagstone floors, refitted the family bathroom, and stripped away every trace of 1980s swirly artex. With the upstairs and exterior still to come, it’s a journey that continues to deepen her love for heritage interiors and timeless craftsmanship.

Founder and Director of Applemoon Interiors, Kim is the boots on the ground designer and creative confidante. She is well versed in the intricacies of making soft furnishings and has extensive experience of all things interiors. Her eye is on the design at all times.

We know her as Lizzie, she's the friendliest girl with the most 'can do' attitude! Lizzie works on the designs and produces all the floor plans and photo realistic renders. You'll mostly see her in the showroom with a pile of fabric books open!​
