What a wonderful year we've had!

Wow! What an incredible year it’s been for Applemoon Interiors.
As we approach the end of 2018, we wanted to take a couple of minutes to reflect on the last 12 months, and say a huge and heartfelt thank you to all our customers for their terrific, ongoing support.
The year got off to a flying start with demand soaring for our ever-popular made-to-measure Roman blinds, curtains and bespoke soft furnishings.
In the spring, we decided to give our Westergate store a fresh new look, taking inspiration from award-winning artist and designer Emma J Shipley for our bright and breezy window displays.
With business thriving and receiving an increasing number of requests from customers for a greater range of products, we began formulating a plan to open a new Applemoon retail store to sell soft furnishings, home accessories, lighting, furniture, wallpaper, paint - and more!
As the search for the perfect premises began, we were thrilled to find Applemoon Interiors featured in both the July issue of etc Magazine and the Chichester Observer - such a lovely feather in the cap for our interiors business.
Discovering that a spacious, characterful building in Sea Lane, Rustington would soon be available, we leapt at this golden opportunity, in a bid to bring a little slice of Applemoon to the bustling village where I once lived.
Having spent months researching and buying on-trend products and completely updating our premises, in November, Applemoon was ready to open the doors.
Well, the response to our new lifestyle store has been phenomenal, with amazing feedback from clients who are delighted that we are stocking such a beautiful, diverse range of unique products, ideal for enhancing their homes and giving as gifts to family and friends.
Apart from thriving retail trade, there’s also been huge demand from customers requesting our made-to-measure curtains, blinds and soft furnishings.
Our experienced team of friendly, approachable staff are thoroughly enjoying meeting customers old and new, and are on hand six days a week to offer their expert advice and guide customers through the decision-making process.
Looking forward to 2019, we are absolutely delighted that, again due to customer demand, in January, interior designer Nichola Hayler will be joining the Applemoon team. You can read more about how Nichola can help you transform your home in a forthcoming blog.
Also in 2019, we’ll be building on the success of our new masterclasses by running more interiors-related sessions and offering smaller workshops for those who would prefer more individual tuition.
Phew! It really has been such a wonderful year and we’re so grateful to all of our Applemoon customers for joining us on our journey.
We are very much looking forward to seeing you in 2019 and wish you all a very merry Christmas and happy new year.
